    Scandia's newest combined thermometer and hygrometer with two dials measures the overall room temperature and humidity. With an elegant brushed chrome finished faceplate and two, 4" diameter dials, the hygrometer/thermometer is a necessary accessory in the sauna room. After heating your sauna room for at least thirty minutes, an average temperature of a traditional heat should be approximately 180 F. Ideal location for the hygrometer/thermometer if 6″ below the ceiling and directly above or near your sauna heater. Stainless steel body construction with glass bezel. A hygrometer is an instrument used to measure the amount of water vapor in air or in confined spaces. Most humidity measurement-instruments rely on measurements of some other quantities such as temperature, pressure, mass, a mechanical or electrical change in a substance as moisture is absorbed. By calibration and calculation, these measured quantities can lead to a measurement of humidity. Scandia's Hygrometer is made of high quality Stainless Steel and glass & requires zero maintenance or cleanup.
