Presented today is this beautiful example of Plains Indian beadwork, in the form of a beaded hair barrette. Created by the Sioux, it is 4 inches across
. It was created in the 1960's and is in perfect condition. This lovely piece is part of a collection from a dear, departed friend, and i am selling her collection for her family. She was a very well-known and highly respected Native American teacher,
lecturer
and curator, and it is an honor to assist in making part of her vast collection available to you.
