    Original French Double Grande Poster (64x96) for the Marquis de Wavrin adventure documentary, AU PAYS DU SCALP (1931) [American title: THE AMAZON HEADHUNTERS] narrated by Fred Shields. The film documents the Belgian explorer Marquis de Wavrin's expedition up the Amazon looking for a lost friend who may have fallen victim to headhunters. With artwork by Rene Peron, this original French stone lithograph poster is folded and in fine plus condition. Of course, it is very old, but the poster is fundamentally sound. We would recommend linen backing for the poster in order to clean and protect it from tears and acidic deterioration.
