Antique Native American Indian Sioux Artifacts Leather Beaded Spirit Or Medicine Bag And Small Leather
Tobacco Pouch.
Set of two Native American Sioux Indian beaded leather bags/ pouches
1. Leather medicine or spirit bag decorated with beads, bag has a flap on either side of the top and a larger pull flap in the center or the bag top , to open the bag you gently pull on the bag from the center and you’ll see the center top flap start to pull down and an opening will spear on the side you then put in side your medicine or herbs and then pull the center flap at the top of the bag and it closes up tight so nothing will fall out. Bags come in display box pictured.
2. Small leather beaded tobacco pouch , decorated with beads on both sides and had small strap at the top attached to the back side.
Both bags are from the mid to late 1800’s or possibly early 1900’s
