Original 1950's re-release Belgian poster for the original 1931 Universal horror masterpiece "Frankenstein", directed by James Whale and starring Colin Clive as Dr. Frankenstein and Boris Karloff as his monstrous creation. This poster dates from a 1950's re-release of the film in Belgium and features creepy, intense, colorful artwork of the monster, one of his victims and the eerie graveyard scene. Very effective and evocative poster for this legendary film.
Size is 14 1/2" x 21 1/2" inches. Condition is very fine, with one horizontal fold and one vertical fold and mild handling wear. Nice color and overall great shape for a 50+ year-old poster, and would look just about perfect after a simple linen-backing!
