    Description

    A general purpose, low-pressure chromatography column with a bottom SLIP-TIP fitting, borosilicate glass construction, and 28 µ bottom support (glass frit). Capacity is approximately 20 mL. Other than the slip-tip fitting, this item resembles Bio-Rad catalogue number 7370732, except that this item contains only one column. Compatible with snug-fitting caps, which can be obtained elsewhere with Luer-lock fittings (NOT included). The top of the column is wider to accept a larger cap, the same as for a 1.5 cm inner diameter column.
    Purchasers should be aware that very long, very thin columns like this one will have SHOCKINGLY slow flow rates, particularly under gravity flow, even with minimal packing on the best of days. Buyers should be aware of this!
