    Description

    We are offering a
    sinew sewn
    beaded hide Arapaho knife sheath
with an old Arapaho made knife. The knife has a handle of catlinite, or pipe stone, with brass pins, a blade and tang made of steel and a hand guard made of brass, all in excellent sturdy condition with great patina. The sheath, which has beadwork designs on both sides and is decorated with tin cones, is in very good condition with minimal bead loss, if any at all, but is missing two tin cones. There is slight separation to the hide of the flat edge as shown, we did not attempt to remove the sheath from the hanger. Sheath measures 5 1/2" long x 2 1/4" wide. The knife measures 9" long x 2 1/2" wide at the guard, 1 1/2" wide blade, and the catlinite handle is 3/4" thick. Please study the photos as they are part of the description. Payment in full is expected within 48 hours.  Free local pickup in Santa Fe. I pack and ship on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.  No returns unless item is grossly misrepresented. Shipping cost is to lower 48 states only.
All International Shipping will be handled through the eBay Global Shipping Program.
