19th Century Iroquois Handmade Beaded Purse

****This is a nice, 19th century Iroquois beaded purse, made from hand and decorated with beads. The bones of this item seem to be made with fairly simple cloth and fabric, with a nicer, dark brown fabric laid over the top, with red edges stitched on. The purse has decorative patterns in beads on both sides, with the edges having beads woven onto them as well. Condition is good on this piece, given the age. There are strands of beads that are loose as the stitching looks to have come undone, the edges have small tears, rips, and holes, while one side has the decorative flap separated from the base fabric. One side shows a bit more wear than the other, likely the side of which it was worn more frequently.
