19th Century Blackfoot Beaded and Quilled Shirt.

Description

Offered is a museum quality circa 1870s-1880 Blackfoot mans beaded and quilled shirt.  The shirt measures 43" wide by 29" tall as displayed in the photos.  The shirt is heavily fringed overall and the chest and arm fringes are quill wrapped.  The shirt shows traces of yellow ochre and is decorated with round brass shoe buttons.  The shirt is soft and supple all over and all fringing is also.  This shirt is a beauty and a good investment as these relics are about all in museums and collections.
